The label vinyl is often used broadly, but MEISTER design collections have different constructions. Start with the product specification rather than assuming that every design floor has the same core, water resistance or installation rules.
What to compare before choosing
Compare walking comfort, dimensions, surface texture, declared use and the exact moisture conditions the manufacturer permits. Kitchens, entrances and bathrooms require different checks; a floor suitable for occasional splashes is not automatically approved for every wet room.
Prepare the installation as well as the material
Tell us about large glazed openings, direct sun, fitted furniture and the substrate. Installation limits, movement gaps and any integrated backing must be checked before an underlay or adhesive is selected.
Compare real samples in your property
Assess colour, grain, texture and sheen in daylight and under the lighting you use in the evening. Include the wall colour, doors and furniture in the comparison. Keep the shortlisted reference and finish so the quotation describes the product you actually selected.
